Faculty of Commerce and Tourism of Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) emerged in November 2012 (BOCM No. 274 of November 16, 2012), as a transformation of the School of Business Studies, heir to the School of Commerce of Madrid, founded in 1850 and forerunner of economics and business studies in Spain. Currently, it has more than 2800 undergraduate and graduate students. It is specialized in training, research and knowledge transfer in these two strategic sectors for the Spanish economy. It is an affiliate member of the UNWTO.
