September is fashion month par excellence. The shop windows are filled with new trends, the thickness of the magazines increases considerably and the most awaited party in the fashion universe returns: Vogue Fashion’s Nigh Out (VFNO).
This Thursday, September 12, all fashion lovers have an unmissable date in Madrid, with Ortega y Gasset as the epicenter of the evening. It will be there where Vogue will establish its headquarters to make you enjoy a multitude of activities.
The party will begin at 20h. and will extend through two shopping areas of reference in the capital: the neighborhood of Salamanca and Las Salesas-Fuencarral.
The eleventh edition of the VFNO, held in collaboration with the City of Madrid and Madrid Fashion Capital will serve as a letter of presentation for the latest developments of our favorite brands of fashion and beauty.
Actors, editors, models, stylists, celebrities… Personalities from the world of fashion, cinema, music and television will once again be present at the VFNO, whose stage will feature trolleys with balloons, cotton candy and popcorn and a wide range of lights and music.
ORTEGA Y GASSET: THE EPICENTRE OF FASHION
Ortega y Gasset Street will host some of the central activities and some of the most interesting surprises.
It will also feature musical performances by India Martínez and Brisa Fenoy and there will be a replica of the new Netflix series, Alta Mar, starring Jon Kortajarena and Adriana Vaquero, who of course will not miss this event.
But that’s not all. Turismo de Italia will intervene with a great simulator of the Fontana di Trevi, hosting a fashion show by designer Juan Vidal with a collection inspired by the country of the boot.
Sustainable fashion will also play a key role in the VFNO, thanks to H&M, which will present a very special collection.
The Huawei space is another essential stop on the route, where we will be able to see first hand the launch of the Huawei p30 pro, as well as lots of gifts and surprises.
Serrano Street will be another of the key places of the party, and not only during Thursday night, because until September 20 we can attend the exhibition Think Pink, a journey through emblematic snapshots related to one of the most iconic colors in the history of fashion.
Pink is no longer limited to a delicate connotation: it no longer only assumes the sweetest femininity, but also the most risky, subversive and seductive. Audrey Hepburn singing in her famous Think Pink in A Face with an Angel, Grease’s Pink Ladies, Blondie’s non-conformist looks, Lady Gaga at the Met…
This exhibition presents an outdoor tour through the nature of pink and its imaginary where you can contemplate the art deco covers that the legendary Spanish illustrator Eduardo Benito produced for Vogue in the 20s, the wonderful and dream world of Tim Walker, or the unique way to capture the sensuality of the great Helmut Newton.
