Hunan Television or Hunan TV is a provincial satellite television station.

It was launched in January 1997 and is currently the second most watched channel in China, surpassed only by CCTV-1, owned by China Central Television, although Hunan STV occasionally beat CCTV-1 in the ratings.

The Hunan TV signal covers most of China, including Macao, Hong Kong, Taiwan and abroad as (Hunan STV World) in America, North America, Japan, Papua New Guinea, Australia, United States, Canada, Europe, throughout the world, Sweden, East Asia and the landing of other countries and regions. Since September 28, 2009, the network broadcasts in high definition.
