The greater ease in obtaining the visa is one of the reasons that has contributed to this situation, especially among Colombians, who travel mainly to Miami and New York.

59 percent of Argentines prefer Miami, 35 percent Orlando and 30 percent New York, according to the report of the Office of Travel and National Tourism of the U.S. Department of International Trade.

The North American country is the fifth favorite destination for Argentines, especially to spend their vacations, but also to visit friends and family and do business.

According to the latest data from the Department of Commerce, for the years 2016 and 2017, more than one million Argentine tourists arrived in the United States by plane, 50 percent rented a car and 17 percent used the bus as a means of transportation.
