The head of Cordoba Tourism Agency, Esteban Aviles, participated this Thursday in a virtual meeting of the Federal Tourism Council, which brings together the main officials of the sector from around the country. The meeting was by video call, and served for each province to report the status of the industry, and the measures being implemented against the pandemic.
At the virtual meeting of the Federal Council, lines of action were discussed to jointly develop a strategic plan for migration and recovery of tourism after Covid-19. The meeting was led by the President of the Federal Council of Tourism, Claudia Grynszpan, who was accompanied by the head of the Argentine Chamber of Tourism, Aldo Elías.
The reactivation of the industry, the circulation of tourists, financing strategies and the situation of single-tax, informal and SMEs were some of the topics discussed. Also the complex situation of travel agencies and everything related to accommodation and gastronomy.
In his networks, Avilés highlighted the virtual meeting with his peers – the first in the history of the organization – and celebrated that “we are evaluating future actions that we will carry out in the sector, given the current situation”.
